Teaching Philosophy
Having undergone training at several institutions renowned for their liberal arts emphasis, I hold the view that a university education ought to be comprehensive and foundational while also being practical. I have adhered to these three fundamental principles in my previous and current teaching endeavors, and I intend to adapt them for future educational contexts where generative AI and other advanced technologies present both opportunities and challenges for pedagogy.
I consider teaching as an integral part of my academic life, and I possess excellent skills to design and deliver courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. My teaching has consistently garnered favorable evaluations from students (see attached assessments and samples of students' comments below). I am also keen to supervise students whose research interests align with my own.
